Hi All I am new to the forum so, Hello All Recently got back into CB, after I last dabbled with it back in the early 80’s. Was inspired by the “Fred In The Shed” YouTube videos and slowly making progress with getting things in place. Bought a CRT SS9900 and a Sirio 827 I didn’t realise how intrusive the Sirio was, so ended up swapping it out, for a Sigma Gain Master 2011 5/8 wave, which is a little less obvious (and the wife is now talking to me again !!! ) Still finding my feet a bit but, had loads of decent conversations with people locally as well as some in far away places (Greece and Italy) Anyway, really enjoying it, and just wanted to say hello Cheers All Andy (Ice Man)

Hi Andy,
Welcome to Charlie Tango.
Your profile is complete and ready to go for call sign allocation so just keep an eye on this posting for when our admin Gary comes along to issue you.
(I used my admin privileges to change your country entry of 'UK' to 'England' as call signs are country specific. Just helping out. )
I saw your other introduction posting and wanted to say I hope you enjoy your return to CB. Looks like you're off to a good start already.

Hi Andy, welcome to the forum.
I am delighted to allocate you 26-CT-4561 may you have good luck with it.
73's or more accurately just 73 originates from telegraphy and simply means "regards" It and many others including "Q codes" have been adopted by the radio community. Don't worry too much plain speak instead of lingo is very much the order of things today.
