What is it they say nowadays?.....Ah, yes....
My bad.
Pfft!
TBH Alan I was shocked there was one but obviously some consumers must have asked for it and Yaesu willingly obliged.
Technically/legally the whole radio shouldn't be used on CB frequencies anyway but it don't seem to be stopping anyone......

I never spotted it on my 450d but then some of the abbreviated settings if you get what i am saying are hard to understand you have to refer to the book.

Ah, the oft quoted Apollo 'quindar' tone. (Did wonder how long that one would take to pop up Ray. )
'Cos we're all ground control or going to the moon! (Just maybe a bit 'looney'! )
I get it. Some people can't stand the sound of a baby's cry, but for me that poor infant lacks the communication skills to let the mother/care-giver know that something is amiss and doing their best to let them know.
.......I've let go of the push to talk - Waah! Oops, sorry.....Beep!
Ha! Ha! Ha!
Just trying to have a laugh about it and I know everyone's opinion will be different. (It's what makes the world a wonderful place after all.)
Just makes you wonder how we can all hold a telephone conversation, speak to another person or even communicate in groups and not once does somebody let out a shrieking "BEEP!" Mind you, some talk over the top of each other which is bad enough with a simultaneous full duplex method let alone the simplex method we enjoy on radio.
Hams got it, with the call sign handover or other verbal 'nod'.
As for multiple/entertainment type roger beeps, well we're back to baby....shaking that rattle and letting out a giggle of glee.
Bless.

That's actually true, and this post will be Off-Topic somewhat.
I have a barrel tuner on my .22lr Target Rifle, it brings the barrel to resonance, improving the group at 50 metres.
Basically, like Air Rifles, which are all at a different resonance, even the same make and model and calibre next off the production line, you have to batch test different manufacturers pellets and shoot groups at 10 metres, to select the pellet with the smallest group. Things like regulators, manufacturing differences, pellet design, and minute differences in barrel construction, mean that every rifle and every pellet design performs differently.
With regard to Air Rifles, once a brand of pellet is found with the best group, then things like micrometers and accurate scales to weigh them individually, and place them in smaller batches, improves consistency of a group on target.
I don't go to these lengths (yet) with my Target Air Rifle, an Air Arms S510, I have many things to correct before getting to that stage. I may even one day will have to change it for something with a better regulator, but that may be a few years away.
However, with .22lr Target Shooting, I am quite far down the rabbit hole, I use bubble levels to set up my bench, tripod, and targets, have batch tested ammunition to select the best for my rifle (an Anschultz 1413), improved my scope, butt furniture, rest, shooting technique, to the point of being able to call my shots on where in the bull they will land, and the next stage was a barrel tuner.
Its a saw tooth of progress, steps forward and steps back, my shooting at 25 yards is almost what I want it to be, but at 50 metres there's work to do, I've decided to invest in a mount for DIN Rail, change and improve the cradle on my tripod, and see where that improves matters, next step after that would be changing up from the 6-24x52 scope, which is ideal for 25 yards, to a 10-40x56 scope that will better suit 50 metres.
Beyond that it would be a new rifle, which I don't need yet, even though this one was made in 1963.
I've also invested in a Tikka T3x TAC A1 in .308 Win to undertake Target Shooting with centre fire, this creates a whole load of new variables, mostly the same as .22lr, but also load development, which is another myriad of options to get right. I've deliberately gone for .308 because they are the cheaper factory ammunition, and reloading equipment is easier to obtain, but I can see that eventually, within a year or so, I'll be moving to 6.5 Creedmoor, as a proper Target Calibre with a much better Ballistic Coefficient.
You can actually remove the projectiles from rimfire rounds, change the powder, and projectile, but often the round is designed within specified tolerances, and you could end up with split cases, I've never wanted to go down this route, but generally Extreme Long Range Shooters do make such changes to rimfire cartridges, just not my bag.
Anyway, this was severely off-topic as I warned, but Clint's words on film are quite true about guns.
I just aim and pull the trigger. If its off I just aim slightly off to compensate
