I don't know how often this country is available to try and make contact with. Maybe it is more common than I think, but yesterday was the first time I have heard anyone from there ever on any ham bands or 11m, and was really pleased to finally make the contact after an hour of calling and a bit of a struggle once I got through the pileup, on 12m SSB.
Still a couple of days left of their activation. They are also using many bands and modes including FT8 and other digi I noticed in their spot reports by others, so one for all to look out for if you need this one. Good luck!

There was also the Z21RU expedition in Zimbabwe. Never managed to break any pileup on either even with FT8!

Nice one Neal (Gary put your specs on "Meal" lol).. Just looked in my log and had a contact with 7Q5RU on 17m FT8 06.33am 05/07/2022 shame it wasn't phone. Never noticed lol but got Malawi in my log and didn't know derrrrr.
