Jack here from Walsall, UK! New to CB and radio in general - I’ve just mounted a PNI Escort HP 6500 with a thunderpole antenna to my 2007 Audi TT 3.2 V6 been listening out on some channels (mainly 19) but would like a cool call sign to interact with others on the platform!
I love to travel and have future plans to migrate to Norway, hopefully in around 6-12 months. I am also a member of the Audi Owners Club and frequent as many shows annually as possible with the club.
Quite new to the whole CB thing so any help, advice and lingo is warmly welcomed!

Hello and welcome Jack. Not heard anyone using a call sign on Muppet band, mainly DX on USB. But I'd say get one anyway, the more the merrier.
Have you watched Andy Kirby on YouTube ? He posts radio videos and he's modding a TT.
How are you finding the fuel prices/economy now ? I'm thinking of getting shot of my 3ltr 6 cylinder BMW

Thanks for the welcome. UK40FM is where I’m at currently, but that might change as I explore further
I have seen a few Andy Kirby videos yes. He has the Mk3 TT I believe (a generation newer than my one).
The 3.2L V6 is a great engine, but the fuel economy is awful I drove it from the UK to Norway in May and it used about 9 full tanks each way.. For me it is just a weekend car (or every other weekend with current fuel prices) as my daily/work vehicle is a 1.0L VW Polo (I’m a driving instructor)
If I’m driving super-economically on the motorway I can get mayyybe 350 miles out of a 55L tank. highest I’ve seen on my dash is 27mpg, but average is more like 20mpg with 250 miles to a tank 🤯
Not sure how the straight-6 in the BMW will compare to the narrow angle VR6 in the TT though! The TT is naturally aspirated, which doesn’t help the economy. Nonetheless it is a really, really fun car to drive! 100 smiles-per-gallon
