Subject: Something for the weekend ? Sat Sep 10, 2022 9:04 am
for those of you unfortunate enough to have a weekend free for fun and frolics what are your plans?
My plan is to meet with a friend who lives out of town in the woods, relax in the forest, drink some beer, grill some meat. it will no doubt devolve into fighting over what song to listen to next but in a non violent manner around midnight. I may try to share the joys of 11M dx and convince him to get a CB, which reminds me he has what looks like a 1/4 size aircraft hangar that may have what i need for an improvised groundplane.
My rig will get a rest after being rudely woken from a years long slumber this week and i will ponder how to improve the performance of the mag mount the poor thing is connected to. the windowsill is quite limiting it is a ferrous metal but far from ideal. I am hoping to find a skip with some metal in it so i can chase the skip,
Have good weekend all here is hoping the muf is kind to you all who get to get on the bands this weekend.

Hi Mike,
My wife is in retail so unfortunately the 'weekend' is just another day but when she gets a weekend off it does feel extra special so we make the most of it. (Usually though slumbered on the sofas digesting some good home cooked food!)
Have a great weekend yourself and to all here at Charlie Tango.
All the best, Victor

I changed to regular hours after 3 years of rotating shifts that ment I could be working any time of night or day any day of the year. Almost back to a regular sleep pattern now.
