Had a nice contact with Simon the wizard in Budapest Hungary today on 26805 FM using my CRT Xenon and 6 watts into my homebrew dipole in the loft a distance of 1200 miles it is not always about big power and antennas...This frequency is used as a calling channel by a facebook group from over the pond and some good contacts using FM have been made from here in the UK so do give a listen out.

The name of the facebook group is 'The original FM Calling channel 26.805' it has nearly 3k members and is extremely friendly and well run.
