Yes I will answer your question. I saw your unredacted posts Opinions are like bum holes, everyone has one. You were getting answers with opinions and friendly advice thrown in. I've had the same push on here to get a ticket. It's better than being told not to do your ticket as your not welcome on ham bands, don't you think ? As for whether the radio is too good to convert or whether you should get a ham licence. I couldn't really care less what you do with your equipment or whether you take your ham licence or not .

It appears you are unable to read, my question was can the 710 be wide-banded if so how do i do it myself,
If i wanted advice on should i take my ticket i would have asked, this group is not just for ham radio users it also promotes 11m
