well as you know i have a little straight 40 unden 100 that i have had from new and a president mc kinley , and this year im thinking of an older model cobra ssb but with uk fm so the search will begin shortly

I hope you've got deep pockets, they're selling for HF radio money these days. Finding one that's not been butchered will be a quest in itself too. Best of luck. I bought myself a President Jackson a few weeks back (Mk1 Taiwan made) with UK band already fitted, what a lovely radio, best I've had in decades tbh.

yes thanks Mitch i know what you mean i have looked on fleabay and the ones on there are all around the £200 mark which aint cheap so if i can come across someone advertising one when im on the radio we will have to see ps the superstar 3900 a nice looking rig but also getting on in price

Got offered a cobra early last year for nothing. Told him I'd pay or to keep hold of it as it's worth a bit or he might want to go back on air. They've gone up since
