You're more than very welcome Naeem.
There's a lot of really helpful people here at Charlie Tango and quite a good community on the forum. You'll soon get the hang of the forum functions and I hope you enjoy yourself with your radio activities.

Thanks again Victor.Just to let you know I’ve tried to enlist on an online course with Essex Ham.Hopefully get help from them aswell as yourself my friend.I’m trying to get there learning so I can hopefully apply for the foundation licence test.I don’t want to rush as I don’t know the first thing about what I’m doing on the amateur radio side of things as a total novice.
Well here goes it and see how it plays out for me lol

Hi Naeem and welcome to CTDX. Many of us on here are old timers lol returned to radio after a long time away. Also many have gone down the Ham license route as well. Pete and the gang at Essex ham are very good and will give you all the help you need. Enjoy your radio and when you get your ticket then the world's your lobster lol.

Hi Naeem,
Wonderful to hear that you're already expanding your radio horizons and the endless possibilities it can offer you.
As mentioned Pete and the gang at Essex Ham come highly recommended by many also helping me with my Foundation training towards the exam. Definitely worth taking your time with comfortable strides into the radio interest which can eventually last you a life time. (There's always something to learn or experience!)
I wish you all the best with everything you do.

Naeem. Wrong side of 60 here and a dyslexic but with Victor helping me well kicking my bum i managed to pass. When you do take the test you will have more than enough time to do it in. Also you can flag a question you are not sure of and go back to it when you have done the rest. My advice read the questions 2 or 3 times but if i can do it you can.
