My name is Antonio from Siracusa Italy. I have been involved with radios since I was a child, we didn’t have mobile phones back then. I started radioing my childhood friends with a Kenwood TH-22 and scanning with an AOR1000. Never had time to settle in with the HAM licence and its bureaucracy here in Italy so have been a pirate for almost 30 years. I mostly listen. Until recently I was curious on what a CB’s true potential is so I bought an 18ft antenna, a radio and off I went QSL with the United Kingdom. I always used the “Discovery” call sign, however I think it’s about time I get an official call sign.
Best regards, 73s to all. :vulcan_tone2: Antonio
