I have bought a KN 990 for quite a good price and wish to wideband it. The only information is a French YouTube video that I find hard to follow despite having the auto translate on the subtitles, all sorts of mistranslation in the video.
Could some kind soul translate it in simple terms for me please? The actual process looks to be simple, but I am unable to follow it.

Afraid not Mark but he does go to lengths to give an English explanation further along in the comments section. (See his reply to 'joe wong'.)
Not having such a radio I cannot confirm it but maybe that's of help?

It looks like I need lessons in observation and English. Think I have it figured out now, will find out Tuesday, as the transceiver should arrive then.

Took me a few attempts but finally got it to work, I'll do a write-up when I get some sleep.

Great to hear Mark.
I look forward to your write up especially as it may well help others with the same equipment.

If you watch it in YouTube, you can click on settings and auto translate the subtitles into English. You can do it on any YouTube video.

I tried that, YouTube doesn't seem to cope with technical translations too well. Have it all sorted out now
