Hello my name is Billy from Edinburgh in Scotland. I've been scanning the airwaves for a while now and have just purchased a CRT SS 6900v from Knights Electronics.
That will be my first transceiver for about 25 years. In the late 80s and 90s I had a few rigs, most notably a Stag 357 with AM, FM, SSB that was my pride and joy. I was sure that I had stashed it away in my late mothers attic, but when I looked for it after 20 years or so - I couldn't find it. The things that you let slip through your fingers!
Anyway, I would love to be allocated a CT call sign and look forward to being an active member of this site.
