Subject: Radio swaping ? Sat Mar 25, 2023 10:07 am
Hi, I am getting a new radio soon and need to use the same antenna
Question, Will the SWR be the same ?? I will check obviously but just hoping.

Yes the SWR is set on antenna and coax but it's always worth checking, even periodically on the same radio. Just incase your antenna has moved, coax has been chewed or cut etc.

Hi Lionel
If my external analogue meter and digital meter on the radio say the same thing, I'm happy with anything from 1.5 or less.
