Hi I'm just getting back into cb from the eighties the fun days, I do still have and use a stalker nine as a home base with a dv27 in the loft the antenna is not that good I know but its ok, I'm hoping very shortly to do a mobile set up which to be honest will be much better for me, I will be getting a superstar 3900 with a sirio 5000 mag mount, My very first CB was a sharp 40ch I bought it from a guy in Watford I remember it well when I arrived at his house he took me to a unit to collect the radio in his Corvett Stingray some car that was a little bit of useless information for you, I can't remember how may CBs I have had over them early days probably like many of you, Anyway I would like to apply for a call sign if possible please.

Welcome to Charlie Tango.
You're in good company here with many old-school CB'ers still active and having fun or coming back to it all once again. My first CB was a General Electric AM rig bought from the trunk of a custom car on a London Chelsea Bridge run....too many moons ago to remember!
Great intro and always good to reminisce.
