Hope I posted in correct area, is there someone out there who repairs CB's? Unsure what happened but granddaughter may have knocked radio off chair, no audio from speaker but audio when ext speaker connected, also i think it may need tuning as squelch has to be turned to 75%before kicks in, old TCB660 in good condition that was working fine, have service manual/schematic. repairing as taking radio to Italy for relatives

Hi, just a thought but have you tried taking the case off to see if a speaker wire has come loose ? And the squelch sounds about right with all the noise I've been experiencing lately.

On my Thunderpole T800, same problem with the internal speaker the wires where connected, just the speaker may be blown ? I think the internal speakers are cheep to save money on production.

I think it may be blown, looks like I can get one online for couple of pound, or just buy external.

I use external, then put it where it is easiest to hear from
