Hi All, Well I'm happy to announce my Delta Loop made the trip to Scotland on Friday night. Short Skip on the 27/81 UK FM was really good and it was great to hear that band have some activity because otherwise it's dead around here. Thank you everyone for the encouragement along the way, several of you said it'd happen eventually.
Cheers
Lynton

Cracking news there Lynton! Very well done.
Goes to show that your string of wire is performing it's job and I bet you were thrilled!
Hopefully that little doubt will leave your mind and you'll have the confidence to string up more homebrew antennas. I for one (and many others too) wish you well with your continued radio adventures.
Awesome stuff.
All the best, Victor

Thanks Victor, yes I'm happy now! I'll probably still look at improving the setup but at least I know that what I have works so its maybe not quite so urgent.
Cheers
