Hi My personal is Sean and I'm in the Farnborough Hants area. I started using cb in 1978, I was 14. My dad came home with a president ar7 40 channel am set. We set it up in his van with a dv27 on the roof. I learnt how to drill holes in steal, run wires mount the antenna and we learnt together how to swr it, good times. Stopped using the 11 metre band in the mid 80s when kids came along. Now I'm going to need a hobby as I start to think about retirement. Can't think af a better hobby than this, so here I am requesting a Charlie tango call sign and start telling lies to my wife about how much I'm spending. Looking forward to getting to know other ct members on air. Sean

Good to have a rig with SSB there Sean and I wish you well with it all.
Our 11m Winter Challenge is still open to people if you're interested at all with some members doing rather well at it. It's all for the fun of it more than anything so none too serious. (Just as well because I'm doing cr*p at it. )
