I've not been able to get out on the radio since i made that comment and i was hoping that the guys would have moved from the tapacrap forum to here and continued the reports. Now i'm able to get out and about i will start my reports again.

Hi all and welcome. It's been awhile since I've done one of these .
Here is my report for the Southern Area SSB Net (sometimes called the Southern Net or the South Coast Net) held on the 01-08-2019.
My set up for the night was a CRE 8900, KL203P, a standard CRE coffin mic and a Moonraker GAP half wave on a 2.5 meter pole.
Here is my of list stations i worked on the net. All stations are 26 division unless stated.

There not here yet! I'm hoping over time, Lee and the rest of the Admin team will be able to transfer the log history of the SSB net here, as it would be a shame to lose it.

You should be able hear the Thursday night net on channel 39,lots of stations in or around west sussex.

As John said, you should be able to get into the Thursday night SSB on channel 39 mid-block (27.395 USB), even more so if you can get to high ground.

My set up for the night was a CRE 8900, a KL203P, a K-PO NM-532 power mic and a Moonraker GAP half wave on a 2.5 meter pole.
It was a bright night with almost no wind and a temperature steady at about 13 degrees C.
Hepburns was showing a good chance of some skip conditions. So on to my of list stations i worked or heard on the net.

I am just about to help him erect a Himalya WB and that should do better than the mobile antenna inside his apartment in the middle of the city! How he gets out I really don't know.
