Picked this up over the weekend , was a good ebay buy at decent price and only hour 20 away so though worth a punt as been looking for one for over a year and a half now .
I'm now thinking what antennas do I set it up for as I'm a amatuer also .

Ha ha , no chance !
I have also had a real daft idea too !
The landy in picture is my brothers, but I have a discovery 2 which I could build a roof rack for and a mount for the mast on there so pivots backwards and locks down on the rack . I can move it by myself also . 14ft ish when collapsed.
Is it me or that just a crazy idea

No that's a stupid idea . The roof is around 8 ft and the mast is 14ft collapsed but I can make a tilt for 2" poles

I seen it done , there a chap local ti me that must do aireal photography or simular. He has a mast on a Mitsubishi. Any case it's too long for the roof , so back to ground mounting .
