This time of year, it's more convenient to operate indoors instead of trecking up to the cabin shack. As I posted a few days ago, I strung a EFHW up from the kitchen window into a tree and tested it with my G90 on the breakfast room table.
I've now rebuilt my work station in a corner by the kitchen door to incorporate a complete HF station with power supply, G90, and XPA125B amp. I've also upgraded my computer; I bought a smaller monitor and a tiny Win 11 PC from DreamQuest.
That's me set up for the winter

I doubt it'll stay that tidy for long

Nice! I got to play with a G90 last weekend when we were out activating....easily Xiegu's best radio, and didn't seem to give a lot away to my KX3 on receive either.

The G90 is a great rig, especially paired with the XPA125B, but that makes it an expensive combo. I like the portability though.
The Xiegu VG4 vertical multiband is also a great antenna.

A nice cosy little setup. It's a luxurious amount of space compared to my confined 38x44cm bedside-cabinet-top-shack. I'd feel like a king if I had that much room Enjoy it!
