I've just been given one of these radios, and I know they do have an export mode allowing up to 20W out of the back and many more channels. What I don't know it how to unlock it, whether it's a key combination or internal jumpers to move etc. Can anybody offer any pointers please?

In the meantime I've managed to root out a service manual which might help resolve the mystery of why he only found 10w rather than 20w If I learn anything further than the link you found me, I'll share it in this thread for anybody else who comes across one of these rigs.
