The CTX Admin Team has had a discussion that during C- 19 Corona virus that all further CTX activities or planned activations should be cancelled and we strongly advise not to do any portable operating during the current situation in the UK and all over the world.
So please stay at home and keep yourself, your family and others safe .

Agreed... it's non-essential travel, even though I rarely see anyone when I'm out on activations... Best to be safe. Looking forward to getting out there when the lock-down eventually gets lifted. Stay safe all...

Following government guidelines I am now lifting CTX restrictions and if you wish to go play CTX more than welcome. But be aware and careful and think twice about dangerous or high climbs in the mountains , we dont want a accident and having to call the emergency services when tied up enough as it is . Also respect the 2m distance .

Just putting my 'Tech' kit back together, Radio arrived today along with the coax. I have the T2LT ready and waiting and the 10M Roach pole arrived a few days ago. Need to make up new mast guys and awaiting the battery to arrive. A quick test run up the local woods hopefully the week after next and we should be ready (again) :-)
I'm thinking of a trip Northward for my first CTX in a few years to where I grew up - Near Darwen moors/ Pendle Hill or up near winter hill.... The stomping ground of "your friend and mine" 2500! :-)
