Yesterday evening we had the grand total of 6 locals on Ch6 PMR for a bit of a rag chew , crystal clear audio with no noise
Not since the 80s have we had so many locals on one ch

Not sure there are sadly at the moment,
I am over on the other side of Essex and had a few contacts towards East London, Raleigh and Canvey Island on pmr. I can just hear the Clacton amateur repeater not far from your qth but you will need your foundation license to use this.

Im from withywood bristol I'm always scanning the pmr 446 channels, looking forward to hearing some contacts when this lock down is over out for some Dx-ing up some high altitude spots see how far I can get good luck and 73's

There's a UK wide PMR 446 event every Sunday. Calling on channel 8 from 8pm then qsy when contact us made.
