I have a plan!

On 2nd November 2021 CB will be celebrating its 40th birthday.
For this landmark occasion I am sure many users will be on possibly channel 40, (27.99125).

As a project I would like get as many people involved as possible in working across an idea which has been discussed over many years which was also discussed in depth prior to me hanging my mic up mid 90's and was debated long before the late 80's & 90's.

I would suggest building, (begging & borrowing) to build several full duplex repeaters with the intention/idea for 4 days to link them together to allow UK wide communication nationally.

I know nothing like this has been done before, so it would be a first. I also know several countries have simplex repeaters (aka parrot repeaters) on the EU mid band, however these would not work for multiple repeater connections.

Many operators have access to modern radios with CTCSS and for people without a cheap tone board will do the job.
