Hi guy's.
Anyone idea how to wire a 4 pin mic plug for a Ham international  Major M360 to a Turner +3 desk mic.
I could do the soldering, but just need some help with the wire to pin combinations.
Regards David.

Hi David,

Did you manage to find the details?
(I like to search back over unanswered postings. Wink )

If not a bit of 'Googling' helped......

Manual for Turner +3 Microphone :-

http://www.cbtricks.xyz/mic_manuals/turner/index.html

Click on the link at the bottom for the Turner +3 and download the PDF. This gives you the wiring colours used.

and......

https://www.manualslib.com/manual/890615/Major-M-360.html?page=2#manual

The bottom of this page shows the microphone wiring for the M360 rig.

Simple enough four pin wiring, Shield = Ground, White = Audio, Black = RX, Red = TX.

If it doesn't work first time then swap the TX/RX, but this error should be obvious. Wink

All of the above assumes 'standard' wiring and that no one has replaced leads, mucked up the wiring etc. etc. over the years.
If they have then a multimeter will come in very useful, otherwise it's a trip to the 'rig-doctors'.

Hope that helps.

All the best,
Victor

The wires are : WHITE - AUDIO TO PIN 1
SCREEN / RED TO PIN 2
BLACK - RX TO PIN 3
BLUE - PTT TO PIN 4

1st pic on here. Should be same as Expander.
