Hi all,

Moved house again and can put up a Silver rod on T&K brackets on the side of the house.

My dilemma is how to get the COAX from the bottom of the antenna into the room.  It's a relatively short distance as the antenna will be on the outside of the actual wall to the room.

I don't really want to run it through the window (plastic modern double glazed), but am worried if I drill through the brickwork, it'll crack all the plaster in the room.

Are there any clever ways of getting the COAX from 'out' to 'in' ?

Thanks.

use a 6mm drill bit first from both sides, (pilot hole) if modern house will be dry lined so no probs with smashing a big hole through, then a size of drill bit the same or just slightly bigger then silicone the outh side to seal, make sure you put a small u at the bottom so water can drip off and not in

The link i put was for a coax patch that goes through the opening no drilling.
It's thin and flat.

I've drilled 3 holes in my wall for coax, with a hammer drill and a long 12mm masonry bit for RG213. I drilled from the inside to the outside at a downward angle so outside hole is lower than inside to keep the rain out. Silicone sealer around the holes and you're there. Drilling from the plaster side reduces the plaster damage Smile

I blasted a 1 and a 1/4 inch masonry bit 24ins long through from the inside and patched up with a dash of filler and a dab of paint. "Simples"
Took the Connector through as well.

cheers
