Introduction and call-sign request (Issued)

Hi,

recently developed an interest in radio communications, i'll be honest its mostly due to going down the disaster prep rabbit hole.  Got myself a Quansheng UVK5 and realised this sort of stuff really interests me.  I haven't purchased my radio equipment yet but i like the look of the President stuff, it'll be a mobile set up on my van down here in Guernsey.
