Hi, my name is Derek (Dirk) and I live in Billingham, County Durham. I am recently retired from the motor trade and decided to rekindle my interest in radio as a hobby. I was introduced to cb in the 80's and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm currently studying for a foundation level licence.Could I please request a call sign?

Hello Dirk, welcome to the CTDX group.

I've recently moved to Redcar so now a Teesider myself. I'm yet to put my HF antennas up so just VHF/UHF & DMR for me at the moment. Good luck with your foundation studies, I hope to work you when you're up an running.
