All paid up for 2 nights

Quite a few coming from down south, should have a convoy

Great idea , if anyone stuck for transport and passing a lift is welcome, travling up on Tod . I dont use cb whike driving suffer qrm with engine on but i have cured it for vhf and uhf , with ferites on injection to ecu loom .

We Haven't cancelled the event yet and we are monitoring the news as much as you guy's. The event is at the end of July, hopefully things will have calmed down by then.

If anything changes for the worst then we will have to use common sense.

Time off work is set in stone, T2LT built for a night out on the way back, tent in good order and cash sent to Craig for a two night stay!  It's been a few years but bugger me ... we're back - Corona Lockdown aside of course

We're just awaiting a decision from the Bash organisers from what I last heard.

Not heard anything Matt, I think it’s worth waiting it out for a few weeks. See how things change. I honestly don’t think we’re any closer to knowing what will change but we are running out of time.

Can you tell me if this event is still on and what steps have been made to protect guests with Social Distancing.
I can not see how this can go a head - we can not just throw caution to the wind and the Government has said they do expect a second wave of the Virus.
I was really looking forward to this but need some guidance

We just don't know at the moment. I have to say it looks very unlikely for the reasons you correctly highlight.

As soon as we know we'll make an announcement.

Thanks for the reply Gary i guess we will just have to wait and see, i was hoping to take up some Miltary Clansman 320 radios for all to use but i guess it will have to be next year,

At the moment camping not allowed so cant even book the hall, looking at possibly end of August but everything and everybody is a bit up in the air atm
Of course safety is, and will be the main issue
Realistically I think we should look to next year but dont give up on the chance it will go ahead this year, we in Wales are still on lockdown atm anyway!

Yep I hate to say it, but as "Buxton is the social radio event of the year", it will be rather hard to include "social distancing" for those that attend- it just wouldn't work.

I think Al is right, we should all starting thinking along the lines of later in the year or at worst a new date for 2021 that we can all look forward too.

I vote for that too . Later in year or next year be best option .
