I expanded my wee Retevis RT95 and started listening into the PMR frequencies, not a lot happening but a few users in my area. Anyway, I have since gone on to have a few ragchews and I am actually liking it!
I am like a kid in a toy shop trying all the different stuff, next up I think will be 4m Very Happy
I thought retirement meant boredom...Far from it!
Anyway, most nights I am listening on Ch8 around Clydebank/Paisley/Glasgow/Loch Lomond if you are around, give me a shout.

When I know the tropo's running (forecast), I give a call on ch8 on my HT with my CT callsign when I walk home from work in the evenings. If no activity I switch to ch12 where there's sometimes Swindon users DXing, it's definitely worth you listening on 12 as I have heard them make contacts to Scotland.
