Have been making some really big changes in my life, for starters have lost nearly 7 stone in 8 months and have cut out strong painkillers entirely. Was on some really horrible tablets for sleep problems, the side effects range from reducing life expectancy to shrinking your brain, am now down to a sixth of the original dose and feel much better for it.
Then I had a bad bout of vertigo, every time I turned my head to look at my radio I would just spin out and feel nauseous, after doing some exercises that has now gone.
I finally switched on the radio a couple of days ago, conditions weren't brilliant but did manage a couple of contacts FT8 20m, with the newly approved 25W, as they say "onwards and upwards".

Wow Mark sounds like you have been in the war's a bit there. I got sent to the doctors by the station commander beginning of Jan with a cough. Came home with COPD and a dicky ticker. Now got Linda in hospital with fluid in her lungs. Never stops does it. Hope your getting better my friend and take care.

Glad you're making positive steps there Mark, back on the forum and once again enjoying your radio. (The radio interest can be a fantastic distraction. )
Alan mate, what's your Linda been up to this time? She's not long been out of hospital after her bionic hip! I send you both my well wishes as usual and do send Linda our love.
