Herts Beds and Bucks daily 27.305 USB group

Hi

Our little group is still running twice a day on 27.305 USB. 6.30am-7am mornings and 4-5pm afternoons.

It can get a bit busy and TBH we don leave enough gaps (trying hard on that one) so sorry in advance but we do call out for QSK's.

We have been heard across the UK and in Germany, Holland Italy etc.

Have a listen for us.

I found the 27.305 net really friendly I do struggle to get Fred and the other guys some days but the guys my end are nice bunch of guys

Having been up on the net a few times myself now whole heartedly agree with Barry CT-3260 above, if your around early morning or late afternoon why not drop in.
Some of us stay on freq till mid evening when it's not quite so busy.

Well, I have my new Mc Kinley set up, but only on a 1/4 wave for now....
I have ordered a Solarcon A99 but am stuck with the 1/4 at approx 20' for the next month or so.

Is anyone close to Epping Forest / Harlow? Put out a call today after 4, but not sure I am getting out far at all........

Pleasure to meet you on here Fred, been binge watching your youtube channel mate, you've made me press the nuke button on a CRT Superstar SS-7900 and whole host of other bits and bobs from Knights LOL! Last time I was on CB was 1987! The missus has gone nuts (told her to get back in the kitchen..... after I walked out of the room and went outside of course)

Just stopping by to say hello gents, new member to your ranks, currently only have my old FM rig at the moment, doing my research currently for the next step up. Location is Bishop's Stortford, but I work mobile around Hertfordshire/ Essex.

And the 305 net made it to Finland last summer, just could not get a good 2 way copy, my roger bleep was ok, but audio was r1 to 2, they thought i was mobile in the uk, will keep my ears open this summer

Hi Fred,well like a LOT  of people I watch your videos and really like watching thank's.

I listen every morning and afternoon on the 305 I have only been on once and spoke to to Pucker Dave, Awesome dave,Andy,Chris, I think I may have spoken to you briefly.

I normally just listen on the side as I tend to get a bit mic shy. I am pretty new to CB as  I wasn't into it in the 80's. I have spoken to Awesome at length on FM 22,  and really would like to contact him through Facebook/Twitter or some means. I did a search on ZELLO as I know Awesome has a group on there. I searched for anc33 and found someone with that I.D.  but no contact yet.

If you DO know how I can contact Awesome online I would really appeciate it if you could let me know, thank's

Sorry,only just seen this. Yes the 305 net is STILL  running it's on every day at 6am  and 4pm.

I  have a listen on the drive back from work here in West Sussex, often here the net especially "Awesome" but so far no luck making the trip back. Will keep trying especially if happen to be on higher ground.

Wish we had a net round our 20 it's boring I know there are some stations about here but most are reluctant to say hello shame really. I sometimes go static mobile high ground weather pending of coarse and try start a net on 11 m at the weekend 
It's only us diehards still using the rigs as most have people use the internet even HF has gone quite.

Good bunch of guys on in morning and chat most mornings between 5.30 and 7 am.  I struggle a bit with QRM and noise in evening so very hard to get a QSO but have heard you on Fred around 4 PM.  Like everyone else love your vids on You Tube and you do the hobby a great service so good job there. Tried again today but conditions not as good as yesterday.
Could gear CT061 unfortunately he could not hear me.
No one else on that I could hear or who would answer my calls 
at that time in the morning.
27,555 very quiet. 
Still, I am pleased that the new base set up is picking up stations that distant 
and if not regularly, at times I can transmit that far.
The Sirio 2016 working well for me so far!

It is a friendly and very active net.When I am in the area, I often call-in with my handheld - although only a couple of people can hear me.

I try most days from my home base in Nuneaton Warks, but never seem to get any results.  I'm down to Hertford next weekend so will bring my mobile kit and give you a try.  Cheers all.

Yes, I hear them here in Lincolnshire regularly.
Do shout when I do and even have been heard.
