Welcome to my report of the 6 month anniversary SSB net held on the 01/06/17.

First off i would like to thank Bean, Richard, Toby, Tom, John and many others who made the effort to came out last night for the 6 month anniversary net.
The conditions where horrible & we decided to try and start the net later.

Welcome to my report of the SSB net held on the 03-08-17.
My set up for the night was a CRE 8900, CRE DMC 520 coffin mic and Moonraker GAP half wave on a 2.5 meter pole.

It was a windy night on the forest, at 11 o'clock the wind got worse, the rain came down, so i pulled down the mast, packed up and headed home.

Really enjoyed tonight sat up on my hill being Newlands Corner not far from Guildford. Funny conditions for myself as on the earlier ukfm net i heard everyone clear as a whistle that was working it. on ssb changed completely but still able to receive and get out ok. i have a president grant 2 radio sirio ml145 mag mount antenna and whiskey of the 35 variety in line too! got dark early tonight very much more than last week i think so. anyhow here is a list of people i heard during the evening including the fm crew as i cant remember where i switched over!
