I have returned to radio after some 30 years out from Graduating an Electronics Eng. Tech. program at Centennial College in Ontario, Canada. I currently have a Realistic 413 CB from back in the day. I do hope to upgrade to something with ssb to get into the dx zone. I once hooked up a Cessna antenna from a wrecked plane and got some fantastic skip from Alaska. 3000km or so. I would love to get a CT code for my area. Thanks... P.S. Matt The Rat doesn't work for a 50 year old guy! LOL

Better to post this in the "New Member Introductions". I think that is where i was told to post when i joined up and wanted a call sign.

Thanks guys for the welcome. I'm thinking of a President McKinley for my new SSB. Mobile with a Wilson 1000. My Window mount is ok for Rx but isn't great for Tx. It gives me a huge SWR of 3.5 and I think I may blow my finals. Thanks Gary for the Call sign in advance!
