CTDX official Logo?

Hi and 73s!

Do we have an official or (un)official CTDX group logo? I'd like to make my own eQSL and would love to display our official logo for CTDX, if we have one.. Tnx..

If you look in the Radio Related Classified Adverts section you will see our official QSL cards for sale in the bottom left hand corner of the QSL is a square motive which has been the club logo for as long as I've been a member which is 10 years  have a look to give you a idea.

I'm not sure if there are graphics available so I'll swing it past the rest of the admin team to see what we have.

You could always save the logo from the top of this website and I'm sure no one would mind so long as it wasn't abused in any way. (Defamatory, profit or otherwise.)

As Martin has pointed out the original logo is a square graphic but I can't find that on the site.

Anything that exemplifies or promotes the group in a positive way will always get my thumbs up

What i told him about is our official CT Logo Victor ,I've never known anything different mate, but as you said I think its licensed so he will need permission.

off topic : Victor i have a rare CT pin badge of that CT logo , we use to get awarded them for how many post we had done there was a Silver one for so many and a Gold one for more post  ,I've got a Gold one.

Oh wow Martin! Bet that pleased you getting that.

It seems CT had some high standing at one point. Without a benefactor or other such I doubt that can be replicated.
(Not for want of trying, I purchased a CT email for eQSL's but very few others did.)

Yes Victor, we had a proper shop to buy lots of CTDX goodies ie: T:Shirts, Coffee Mugs , Log Books, and plenty of other stuff.

thank you martin and victor. i'll look at some of the qsl cards. i'll seek permission if i'll use the logo, that's for sure.

Regards the CT logo....

I've only had a response from one other admin team member so far, (we are all volunteers after all), but his response was very much as positive as mine. I'm actually thrilled that you were such a gentleman to ask permission in the first place.

I can see no reason to object to you using the Charlie Tango logo in a personal, not for profit way whatsoever and very pleased that you take pride in the group and want to display as such in your eQSL's. Unfortunately I still cannot find a resource link for the Charlie Tango graphics but my original suggestion of utilising the graphic banner at the top of the website may be your best option for now. (If I find such a resource I will be sure to let you know.)

I am just an admin team member and not the original 'owner' of the Charlie Tango group so ultimately cannot give you express permission but I am sure there would be no objections to such personal use.

So with that, I would look forward to seeing examples of your eQSL graphics and if you manage to incorporate the Charlie Tango logo all the better. Anything that exemplifies and promotes the group as a whole as well as individual members is very much a positive in my opinion.

Wee I found a couple of CT motives for you, I don't know if there any help

@Martin - Well done mate! Some nicely provided graphics there for use.


@Wee - The general consensus from several admin now is that we are more than happy for you to utilise the groups graphics in such a way and really appreciate your gentlemanly way of asking first. Top Man!

Thank you both for your support, and for the permission of the admin.. Awesome!! 
I'll go and tinker with my image manipulation software and whip up (or at least pretend to) some eQSL design..
I'll post the ones I would like to use in a new thread, soon..
