Welcome
Here is my report for the 4th SSB net, held on Thursday night, the 22nd of February 2024.
My location was Radio Corner, Ashdown Forest in the county of East Sussex. The inspiration for Winnie the Pooh's home,100 Aker Wood.
The net is scheduled to start at 20:00 Hrs or 8 o'clock local UK time and finishes when it finishes.

Here is my list of station that were heard and or worked by the net.

Here is my report for the 5th and last SSB net of February 2024.
This was a special net because it was held on February 29th, a date that only comes round every 4 years!
My location was a cold, rainy, wet under foot location on Ashdown Forest (not Radio Corner) in the county of East Sussex.
The net is scheduled to start between 8.00 and 8.30 or 20:00 to 20:30 in the evening depending on when I get set and can be found on mid-block channel 39 LSB or 27.395 Mhz.
My set up was an older version of the Anytone AT-6666 (no amp no power mic) and a Solarcon A-99 antenna up a lofty 3 meters in the sky.
In no particular order, here is my list of stations that called and were heard and or worked by the net. All stations are 26 division unless otherwise stated.

Here is my report for the Southern Area and South Coast SSB Net held on Thursday 28th of March 2024.
My location was a wet and WINDY Radio Corner, Ashdown Forest (the inspiration for A A Milne's 100 Aker Wood, the home of Winnie the Pooh and friends), in the county of East Sussex
The net is scheduled to start somewhere between 20:00-20:30 -, depending on the work shift of the chairs 🪑, and finishes when it finishes.
The band conditions where crazy with 2 and 9 division, a youtuber and Mr Blah Blah Blah :
The net can be found on channel 39 LSB on the mid-block, which is 1 channel up from the American LSB calling channel.
The weather was wet, raining and very very windy. This made putting the Solarcon A-99 up a challenging task, which, after some 15 or so minutes, I gave up and slapped the Sirio 4000 mobile antenna on the roof. Radio used was the Anytone AT-6666 (no Mic no amp).
So on with my list of stations heard and or worked by the net, all stations are 26 division unless otherwise stated.

A big thank to all who came out and sat on a hill being rocked by the wind. Thank you to all who kept there antennas up and join the net and thank you all who called in. Without you all, there would be no net.
Hope to get you in the log next time

My location, as always, was Radio Corner, Ashdown :palm_tree: Forest in the county of East Sussex or the home of Winnie the Pooh and friends. The set up was an early version of Anytone AT-6666 (no amp no power mic) and a Solarcon A-99 mounted about 3 metres above the ground.

The weather was dry when I arrived at Radio Corner and stay dry while chatting to Toby Tango 187, but when I started to set up, yes you guessed it, it started to rain.
The band conditions were as to be expected, North & South America and loads of atmospheric noise being heard.
