The biggest sting in Australia's history has just unfolded. Organised crime gangs have been using an encrypted messaging app to communicate, the app was specifically developed buy law enforcement and used with 100% confidence by organised gangs, they even paid a subscription to use it... how's that for rubbing salt into the wounds. With millions of messages intercepted and decoded every week for the last 3 years, no doubt the arrests will continue for weeks. This one is MASSIVE, what a awesome job made possible by thousands of police in law enforcement agencies all over the world working together. Job well done, thank you.

These criminals are the ones who have been helping Australia turn into one of the worlds biggest drug using countries in the world, mainly crystal meth, I fear for the future that my children are facing, the drug epidemic here is extremely bad, not far from me there's a town called Murray Bridge, its the nation's worst town for drug use. You can pick the users easily, they have a look about them, it literally changes people's DNA and turns them mad, they live in denial and will do anything to keep using the drug. I've watched people loose everything, its awful. I'm so glad that these lowlifes have been taken down. I wish there was more that could be done,

I faintly remember a similar story of that in the UK and the police cracking in brought down a huge organised crime ring

Exploiting such means has been going on for so long, so far back in TG history, I'm honestly surprised anyone finds it newsworthy let alone surprising it happens.
It's how they pass the traffic that's evolved, how they create the circle of trust to keep communication chain free of garbage etc, that's what's changed not why they secure using secure messaging routes.
Whilst it looks like a random white noise like entity within legit traffic, nobody cares to question it until they are forced to.
