Ask Sgt Bilko to point you in the right direction for the backup with the uk-40 in it. Or you can add them one by one in the software a ball ache but doable. You have super super low to super super high now if you find a frequency chart.(i think lol)...

so today after i did my radio i thought hang on a min i have one of those 12v led power supply's used it for my cctv in my old house. Used it to TRY to program my radio today but left it on in the house i had a loud buzzing coming from the radio and heard no talk on the radio all day. so i took it back to the shed hooked up the other power supply and heard lots of talk so i tried the 12 led power supply again heard no talk and loud buzzing. Do you no what would be happening here its very odd

Not sure on that LED PSU...
Hopefully dat file in your email box now
Just a note on the UK channels, you'll see they're in the format 27.601250 etc, but when it upload to the radio they go across as 27.601200. It's fine to use like that, a lot of people do, but to get it spot on you'll need to use your clarifier to tune the last digit to a '5' on channel. Hope that makes sense.

The cctv power supply cannot run your radio DON'T use it. CCTV power supplies will cause loads of noise as well on your radio if any are close by. Be very careful you are asking for trouble if that was what you used when programming the radio as they only have a few milliamp output and could fail and kill the set.

Darren, I just mailed you a few more dats of which Sgt Bilco kindly put together a short time ago. If none of those work then I am guessing you don't have a v6 6900. Does it say v6 near the middle of the main board?

When buying this radio I've seen it offered with four pre programmed options . eg Prog 1 has bands A-E containing frequencies from 25.615 through to 27.855 and band F is UK CB 40 which I believe is 27.60152 - 27.99125 The other options seem to include the 28 mhz range .Is the first option adequate for general use and ssb ? Thank you

Rich If your thinking about a licence then get it with the 10m band as well.

Would that be the option offered with, 28-29.7mhz in bands A-E , including EU/UK mid band . With band F loaded with the 27mhz range for the UK CB which seems to be shown as UK40 27/81 ?
One option only includes the 11m band I think , and has frequencies down to 25mhz loaded up as high as CB UK . I take it that's not the one I'd want ?
Richard.

If you get the programming cable you can put the lot it. As Sang said in the other post you can put 60 frequency's in each bank so plenty of room for the 10m band.
