Firstly, has anyone got a V7 DAT file available so that the rig will cover from 12M to 10M, with the proper UK FM Muppet channels?
Secondly some info regarding the wiring to the rear USB Mini-B socket, so I can make up suitable Serial Cable for programming. The PC I have actually still has an actual Serial port.

I would think you would have issues trying to use a serial port, there will be a USB interface chip on the board. A proper USB cable can be had for about £16 on Evilbay and would work out far easier in the end even if switching to serial port was possible.

Also, you would need drivers for the software to programme the transceiver as it is they are USB only.

Hi Barney. For the file you could try Sgt Bilko, he has helped many people out for data files for CRT radios and their clones. Check the below thread out for details.

I would be interested to know if these radios can really do 12m ham allocation, of if it's just the "Super Super Low" block as thought they only went down to 25.6MHz.
