Call sign application (Information Requested)

Hi my name is John I would like to introduce myself to have just set up a home base after 40 yrs off air and would like to apply for a call sign I am based in rossendale in Lancashire I have a CRT ss6900 radio with a sirio gain master  I am registered blind now so it has been a bit of a challenge I am not sure how the process works if I have to come up with a suggestion or you have a selection to pick from looking forward to hearing from you with kind regards  JS

Welcome to Charlie Tango DX.

We usually allocate call signs to people simply by issuing the next number on the list and we can easily accommodate you with that. However, we have on occasion issued specific call sign numbers on request so long as obviously those numbers are free. 

We have issued many call signs over the years for England and therefore all the numbers 5000 and before are pretty much gone. I'm not sure if you have someone reading for you or if you have a reader app/program that handles hyperlinks but the current call sign list is at the following link, just be warned that it can be quite labourious listening/reading through them :-
