Call sign. (Issued)

Hello. Tis I Keats. How do I go about getting a call sign please? Thank you. Charlie tango 148 would be nice. Is one allowed to choose his own number? Hope you're all having a good Sunday and no twigs have been blown down

Hello keats, welcome to the forum,

You need to fill out your profile in full, including your name, country, a QTH nearest town or city.

All three digit call signs were issued many years ago so only four digit ones are available. You can choose a free one from the call sign directory here https://www.charlietango.co.uk/t150-26-division-england-ct-unit-numbers-3500-to-9999 or I can issue the next available one.

Hi Gary. Thanks for the swift reply. The profile in full thingy, is that on the same site you mentioned with the call sign numbers? Will 1965 be possible? (My birth year)

Hello Keats,

Click on your user name "Keats" and your profile will pop up. At the bottom click on "Profile" you can now edit the fields and enter the required information. Any problems just put it in a reply and I will edit it for you.

Sorry buddy 1965 has gone as well  click on the link I gave you and you'll go straight to the available database. It will start at 26-CT-3702 and upwards but some of the higher numbers have already been taken so you will need to check carefully.

nice to be welcomed mate. I'm having a loada problems with my station. The 148 has to go back to Ireland. (nothing to do with georges work) l bought a UK FM 40 from shpock (cobra UK 29 ltd sound tracker 29) it worked for a week then it stopped transmitting, receive only its not gone well. Anyway.. Have a good week man.

Know any good local rig fixers martin? Got a UK 40 FM to sell me?

There isn't any local rig Docs anymore infact there nothing to do with CB in our area at all no shops no rig Docs ,you could try ask on here John in the for sale and wanted section
