Thanks for the add names tony live about 7 miles outside Coventry england I'm 53 years young first expirence was back in the 8o's and stayed with it till it went quite had z bbq with friends one weekend and few cheeky ones later the topic was our youth and the things we did and yes some of my most memorable moments as a youth of the time was through cb eyeballs with girls so that sparked my interest again

Hi Tony,
The call signs are usually issued fairly fast, within a day or two, thanks to the stellar performance of the CT Admin who all give their time voluntarily. Our Mr Gary Wilson who issues call signs is on here as often as he can be but please bear in mind that he has job commitments and a family too.
Not all admin are able to issue call signs, (myself included), as there is a lot of work involved in checking the issue lists and assigning the next numerical sequence, etc.
You could help out by filling in your profile completely as per the forum instructions to include your name, country and location as this will save a little bit of time for Gary when he comes to issue.
If you are after a particular number for your callsign you could take a look at the CT Directory and see if your personal numerical choice is free. Link below:-

If you wish to go this way then please make it known on your original 'New Membership' request, otherwise you will be assigned the next available number.
