Hi Guys,
After a summer break we are looking to start the South West net up again in October with a new frequency of 27.215 USB, as well as regular nets we are finding people in the South West are now using this frequncy as our local calling/chit-chat channel at all times of the day so always worth giving a shout if you are in the area.

Hi Mike
The nets will be ad-hoc for the rest of this year as we are struggling to get volunteers to chair, so what we plan to do is put an announcement out on here and Facebook a week prior to when the net is taking place so people get the date in their diary.
We have noticed that people are using 27.215 at different parts of day so always worth giving a call outside of nets

I had a short Qso with 1 off ur members Dave SW101 @ South Petherton nr. Yeovil on our Homesteaders net y'day. I told him I'd posted to u. also had a Qso with Kebab Mark in Oakie. a while back. I maybe on the Southern tonite. 73's 51's Mike 164.

I was on the Southern last nite logged 21 stations. I had a short Qso with Jason SW81 @ Holsworthy. Let's hope the SW's become more prominent that's 3 in the last wk. How do I get a SW call-sign? I already use my CT2201/FB855/UK 164 regularly. 73's Mike.
