Good Evening and thank you for letting join First got into cb around 1977, with a friends chn14 walkie talkie, I knew someone had a proper cb and after many hours “ lurking “ Heard him at the bottom of my road , hasty “ on the side “ and shortly After that I became something like the 30th person on air in Crawley Sussex ( Newbreed ) First CB was a rotary 23 channel , then a Jaws and then my memory gets hazy .... Had a uniden 27/81 rig and used that through the nineties , friend gave me a ham int and I’ve never used it , passed my foundation licence in December and my interest is very much peaked . Will be putting a homemade antenna in the garden shortly
