"M7 what? Is that a pirate callsign? Can't find you on QRZ!? Foundation what? Oh, you mean one of those new licences you get free in a packet of crisps! Haw-haw-guffaw-cough-choke-splutter....spit"
Just joking with you Chris!
(Sadly, based on real transmissions though!)
'Mike - Seven - Papa - Lima - Delta', rolls off the tongue well mate and bet you're thrilled to bits! I really hope you enjoy yourself exploring all those lovely news bands, frequencies and modes now available to you. The Foundation 10W doesn't sound much but you'll be honestly blown over by how far it carries you. Don't let anything make you lose your resolve either, your Foundation was hard fought for and well deserved, no one can ever take that away from you.
Despite my joking reference at the start, pretty much most Radio Amateurs are warmly welcome and you'll really appreciate that side of 'Hamdom'. If you do come across the odd 'jerk' don't worry about it, they're few and far between and no more common than in any other walk of life.
Enjoy yourself Chris, hope to catch you on the bands one day and if not......Charlie Tango ain't a bad place to be
All the best mate, Victor

Chris, bowled over by your callsign letter choice mate. Flipping wonderful
Don't fret about your QRZ either, most put the bare minimum up anyway, (or their latest expensive rig - fair enough, but sometimes their latest car?!?!?)
Hope you feel better soon after your jab.
Stay safe. All my best to you & family.

Cheers for that, yeah the whole thing got sort of side lined / tracked during January as had other stuff going on. Got bored last week / week before and looked at when the next available exam is and booked up. Thought best do it now or I'll never crack on and get it done.
So yeah thanks very much!
Only problem is, I've just realised how much HF rigs are! Might have to Rob a bank to afford anything half decent lol

Nice one Tim, pleased for you.
Yeah, HF rigs can go for horrific prices! It does look like the second hand market has settled somewhat but some still fairly stiff prices around. Here's hoping you get yourself a good rig but otherwise you've still got CB and the VHF/UHF bands can be fun too. (Plus radios can be much cheaper, just been recently looking at the Retevis R95 and Alinco offerings myself.)
At least you've got your 'ticket', that's half the battle done

Make sure you do one of those low angle shots Alan!
Either that or stand in front of your Beemers with your arms folded wearing some expensive wrap-around shades!
Each to their own I suppose but I sort of expect radio stuff on QRZ
