Hi All, I am Kelvin from Wrexham North Wales I was an avid user in the eighties when you struggled to get a clear channel, I have now decided to get back into it and see who is about, I drive up and down the country quite often with my job so have decided to fit a CB in the van ( Radio 2 is ok to an extent ) Look forward to catching up with as many members as I can
Can I kindly request a call sign

Welcome to Charlie Tango.
Those were the days weren't they? We look back fondly but boy was it frustrating finding a clear channel! Felt like you were constantly shouting out, "Up one mate...click...No, up another...click....and again mate" Bit different nowadays but at least driving around you're likely to catch some CB waves.
Call signs are usually issued most days so just keep an eye out on this posting for yours.

Thanks Victor, Yes the good old days looking forward to getting back into it, also looking at the foundation exam when work isn't so intense.

Took my Foundation last year thanks to online tuition and exams, best thing I ever did! Really enjoying the extra bands available to me and I hope they keep the online exams for others wanting to get their ticket.
