Hello all,
i was wondering if anyone had a 27.555 live stream updated list. Its nice to have an updated list so we can check the bands without switching on and also test radios etc. The ones i know of in the past have disappeared thanks.

Hi Tony,
The only 'live-streaming' I know of nowadays are the webSDR's, Internet accessed Software Defined Radios.
The ones I use are :-
http://g0xbu.co.uk/websdr.html
G0XBU Jodrell Bank, has the usual Amateur bands and CB frequencies too. (Nice easy interface but sit back in horror if you scan the old UK19 up that way. )
The other I use to check Continental action, (which usually gives away a possible upcoming 'lift'), is :-

The University of Twente in the Netherlands. Good broad range SDR that also covers CB frequencies.
There are also the KIWI-SDR pages but you may have to hunt around for a receiver in your area. They do however provide a nice mapping feature. Check them out at :-

The handy map is at :-

I hope that was what you were after and/or comes in use.
All the best, Victor

Great stuff Tony, glad it was of help.
If anything it also helped me as I haven't looked up the Kiwi SDR's in some time and found a receiver very near me!
Just doing some receive comparisons with my own setup.

The one i use and have it on my mobile phone thingy is DK0TE, i just saved it as a bookmark, does not do 11m however you can simply check 28074.0 for FT8 to see if TEN and logically 11m are open. The other way is to check out the weather around Europe, Sporadic E is strongly linked to lightning storms, so a good lightning front crossing Europe will open up 10/11.

Personally I am terrified of lightning, I went on a Dxpedition to Macau a few years ago with a group of Spanish guys I know, the storms were almost a daily event. On the second day we were putting up a beam for 50mhz (6m) and a storm came in, I left them to it and retired to the hotel bar with my mate Jack!!!
