Hi all, My name is Iain. I first came to CB radio in 1980 with an AM General Electric 5805 rig. Like so many of us back then I had a DV27 aerial in the loft mounted on a Rovers biscuit tin and some tin foil. When FM became legal I migrated to a Rotel RVC 230. I then had a Fidelity 1000 for some reason until CB died down and I gave it up. I tried coming back on in the early 2000’s but found it to be totally dead in Derbyshire where I was at the time. Now, thanks to a combination of things including this forum, lockdown, YouTube and of course Fred, I’m back on the airwaves. Based in West Sussex, mainly mobile.

A CB history most of us can recognise there and glad you've rediscovered the joys to get yourself back on-air.
