Just worked ARRL HQ on 10m with a President McKinley running 20W and an Imax 2000.

That's awesome Conor! You don't by chance know who the operator was do you? A while back I had a minor disagreement with Ria on youtube where she was advising against those types of radios for 10m work. Be funny if it was her you worked.

It was a man operating their "portable 3" station. Yes it'd be funny as hell. If you want to tell her they're useless I did a video of a President Lincoln I'd bought as spares, repaired and re-aligned, contacting AU3NIAR, the Indian National Institute of Amateur Radio in Hyderabad, India, a distance of approx 4155 miles and making it through a pile up.

Conor Got the same lincoln but mine is sat in it's box on the shelf. Think it's time to let it out and stretch it's legs a bit. Nice contact there.
