Subject: Alinco DX-10 DAT file Tue Oct 27, 2020 12:12 pm
Anyone need a DAT file for the Alinco DX-10 i have just written one. I know a lot of you guys like Uk40 on Band F as traditional SSB sets are usually Band D is MID and E is HI and UK is next. But when these radio's are programmed at the dealers UK40 is usually on Band A. When i write these files i like to add in some 10mtr frequencies just to get the full use of the radio.
Band A - 28.305 - 28.695 Mostly 10mtr voice / ssb Band B - 26.065 - 26.505 Super Low Band Band C - 26.515 - 26.955 Low Band Band D - 26.965 - 27.405 Mid Band Band E - 27.415 - 27.855 Hi Band Band F - 27.60125 - 27.99125 UK40
There is also similar DAT files for the SS6900n if anyone needs them. Just PM with your email address and what file you require. Cheers.

Save the file on your desktop / laptop. You need the programming cable and software to send it to the radio.

Have you got a cable. I got this. Cheapest around and works on Win 10.

Great work Sgt Bilko, My name is Darren and handle is Blue Thunder or BT02. I used to DX in the old days of AM just before FM was legalised in the UK. My rig was a Nato 2000 and spent most days and nights on USB. I now have an Alinco DX-10 with ERW 135 usb cable and software but no driver, would you know where i would be able to find said driver please? I would be forever greatfull,

Make sure the Com port is the same on the software as to where your lead is. And do you have the Prolific Driver loaded. Win 10 can be a pain in the ar$3. Try here.

Good job, I was fortunate enough to find the Win10 driver bundled with some software and a cable when I purchased it online but this is the one problem I hear people experience over and over again when trying to use Chirp and other programming software with a Win10 machine.
I have even heard people say it will only work with Windows 7 and keep an older machine running it to do just that, I would still be running XP SP3 if the compatibility wasn't an issue it really was one of the most reliable operating systems I found.
